A Remarkable Voice. An Extraordinary Story.
Teddy Mac spent much of his life entertaining audiences in clubs across the Midlands and Lancashire. Known as The Songaminute Man because of his extraordinary ability to remember hundreds of songs, singing had always been his greatest passion.
Following his Alzheimer's diagnosis, Teddy's son Simon began filming their car journeys together. As they sang along to his favourite songs, something remarkable happened: the videos captured hearts around the world, introducing Teddy's voice to millions of people.
After releasing a single with Decca Records, Teddy went on to record his first full album through the generosity of supporters who helped fund the project.
The result was Songaminute, a wonderful collection of timeless music, brought to life by Teddy and the magnificent Guy Barker Orchestra.
